Refund Policy

We want every participant to feel confident when booking a workshop with AI Woman. Here's our refund policy in plain language.

1. Overview

Your refund eligibility depends on when you cancel — measured from the scheduled workshop start time.

More than 14 days before

100% refund — no questions asked. Stripe typically returns the funds to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

7 to 14 days before

50% refund or the option to transfer your seat to someone else, free of charge.

Less than 7 days before

No refund, but you may transfer your seat to another participant at no cost. Email us with the new participant's name, email, and business.

2. How to request a refund or transfer

Email hello@aiwoman.space from the address you used when booking. Include:

Your full name and the workshop date
Whether you're requesting a refund or transferring your seat
For transfers: the new participant's name, email, and business (one line)

We will confirm your request within 2 business days.

3. Serious personal circumstances

Life happens. If you can't attend due to illness, bereavement, an emergency, or another serious circumstance — please reach out. We will find a fair solution, which may include a full refund, credit toward a future workshop, or a transfer. We are human-first about this.

4. If we cancel or reschedule the workshop

If we cancel a workshop for any reason — low registration, venue issue, illness of the facilitator, force majeure — you will always receive:

A 100% refund, or
The option to transfer your payment to a rescheduled date, or
Credit toward any future AI Woman workshop of equal value

We are not liable for consequential costs (travel, accommodation, lost time).

5. Consumer withdrawal rights (14 days)

Under Dutch and EU consumer law, you typically have a 14-day withdrawal right for online purchases. However, because our workshops are leisure/educational services scheduled for a specific date, this statutory right does not apply (Article 6:230p BW). Our refund policy above applies instead and is, in practice, equally fair.

6. Processing time for refunds

Once we approve your refund, Stripe processes it automatically. Funds typically appear in your account within:

Credit/debit card: 5–10 business days
iDEAL: 5–10 business days
Apple Pay / Google Pay: depends on the underlying card issuer
